i didnt quite get to participate in rolling thunder today but i did put in a 160 mile ride...( i blogged about it XD)

Look at it on the bright side.. At least you can go have an adventure in some of the worst traffic in the US..

Got the crap beat outa me by my bike. Added LED turn signals in the air vents, and a map switch for the Power commander. Took way more work than it should of been. LED signals didnt wanna splice so I went old school and soldered them. Also figured out I had the speed sensor on the PCV in the wrong switch, which disabled the accel pump, cant wait to ride it tommorow.

Did you adjust the accel pump setting? I adjusted mine a while back per Marthy's recommendation and wow! Love it, it's called the wheelie setting.

Yep, went with his reccomendation for it. Have yet to ride it yet, but gave it a quick rev on a sit, revs much faster now.

I think those are everywhere no matter where you go. though central florida is quite packed with them... Any center of mass population it just full of idiots.

Rode her to class/work this morning. Last night, I lubed the chain, checked hoses/filter/oil/etc, and put three coats of wax on her. I think I may be obsessed. Getting out and riding seems to be all that I can think about for the last two weeks.
IDK man socal has a virus where 80% of guys become bro's or gangster rapers. im sure we are top two in idiots if not the first

Rode in to work today as well. Dodged 2 massive chunks of re-tread narrowly missing my head.
Sorry to hear that, man! Glad you're okay. My only issue was the powder blue Hyundai sonata pulling out in front of me. Powder blue and roads at dawn do not mix! I almost didn't see her.. luckily I was watching all around me, so I was able to swerve left to avoid her.

Rode her into work today, adjusted the throttle cable last night, but didn't make much of a difference. Needs an oil change soon I do believe.
Poor bike has been up on the stands and plugged into tender. Forecasted T-Storms over 40-50% chance each day this week... So far I could have ridden on Tuesday and Wednesday as nothing materialized. Today I would have gotten pretty wet on my way into work but it is looking somewhat do-able again right now -though does look ominious. Probably will have to drive tomorrow again. Then when get home I am planning on cleaning the chain, dry it, then on Saturday give the bike a wash and lub the chain.
