Sure thing when I get back home from Pennsylvania. I bought them on amazon. Just searched "fz6r flushmounts" went for the protons. Installation was Decently simple.
type protons in our site search...hundreds of threads on them and where to buy, and pictures. hell go into my pictures section and look at my bike i have them?
I installed the back rest for my Givi top case, and finally changed my headlight since the hi beam went out at the end of last year.

Last night I spun the bar risers around to save my thimbs from crushing on the tank

installed motodynamic taillights and ebay flasher relay. nice day out but I dont have a chance to ride since I made a movie date with the wife and son.
Took the bike to the theater to go see Battleship. Not a bad movie, if you're willing to suspend even an 8th grade education level for the duration. If you can do that, the second half is loads of fun. Got some great looks, walking through the theater in my gear, too.
My son rode with my mother to the theater, so I took the I20 to get there. I won't incriminate myself by saying I was speeding. It was Memorial Day Weekend traffic headed for the beach. I just stayed with (some of) the traffic.... Got to admit, it was an exhilarating ride.

Apex bars!!!
I still have a bit more adjustments to make on the bars before they are perfect for a bit today left one seems a tinch closer then right and i think i might angle them down more they are kinda angled up atm!!!
but all and all an awesome mod!!! dropping the front and adding a more aggressive bar stance made it corner twice as good!!! or so it seams

im sure your all wondering why i angled them in sooo far.... well its a bike not a plane those things are fucking LONG!!!! i angled them all the way in and its perfect for me!!! did not like it set up like this one

Got all geared up, hopped on the bike for a nice long canyon ride. As I'm on the freeway heading to the 94, I look out east (where I'm headed) and see some really nasty looking clouds. Get another mile and the skies open up. (For some reason Memorial day weekend in San Diego has the worst weather of the year every year.) Turned around and headed home. Yes I'm a weather puss. I ride for fun and riding in the rain, especially on canyon roads, isn't fun. It cleared up later and probably would have been fine, but I just wasn't feeling it and don't like to ride when I'm not really feeling it.
Ended up spending the morning watching F1 practice and qualifying, cleaning up Gretchen for a ride tomorrow.
Monday we have a 320 mile ride planned with a few friends so the weather better behave itself

got out and hit a road with speed limit greater than 35mph today. exhilarating! i didn't expect the wind would be so loud. might have to look into getting one of those double bubble windshields.
