Polished the wheels a bit. There was a couple of specs on the chrome that needed tending to.

I polished a old set of R6 headers, then took a Yoshimura Rs3 from a Katana, chopped it down to 8"..
The header was easy, but it was hard to get that big oval can to fit, it was tight everywhere, mainly near the rear brake (I carefully put a dent in the can so the bracket for the brake cleared) you cant tell unless you squat down and look for it.
It looks pretty good though for ten year old e-bay parts that I modified.I'm going to replace the Yoshimura eventually, it was the only thing in my budget for now.
My outlet is almost even with the tip of the pegs, if I lost any clearance then it is minimal.I don't think it will scrape.But i'll have a friend help me double check before I hit the twisties.
I still need to remove the AIS, install my fuel controller (Dobeck Performance/EJK), check for leaks etc.

Took her for a short ride yesterday, today just moved her. Tomorrow installing integrated mirrors.

Protons finally got here this morn.I really like these. No pics cause i'm on my kids laptop. Now that i have a few mods, i will shoot some.
With a big winter storm coming tomorrow 5-10 inches of snow, I decided to take her out for a bit and test my backward looking go pro mount that mounts to my grab bar.
As usual, being my clumsy Hulk self, when I dismounted my bike I snapped the mount in half by accidentally kicking it. So, my 13 dollar mount looks like it will actually cost me a combined total of 26.00 lol. I will take it easier on the next one...
Watch the video for a quick laugh as I snap the mount, pick up my go pro like it aint no thing. Notice no surprise in my face. I'm so used to breaking everything that I touch that it doesn't phase me anymore... I will only keep the video up for a short time.

I bought mine! Been eyeing it for weeks and went to the dealer just minutes after updating my license endorsement. Took them four hours to finish the finance paperwork, and just as I was about to ride away another customer told me he had come to buy it, I got it in the nick of time :-D

Change spark plugs, the oil, front tire michelen pilot power, cleaned lubed the chain washed and waxed. long day, and riding tomorrow
Sounds like you put in a lot of work. Careful on that new front tire until you get her scrubbed in.
Got some lean angle into my new Q2's.
Changed my ZX6R mirrors to integrated ZX6R mirrors. Not sure how much I like them yet, didn't have time to take her out. Visibility seems okay sitting on the bike and the signals on the mirror is visible from the front which is what I wanted. They are in addition to my flushmounts.

Applied my new stomp grips today. Cut out some carbon fiber tape to cover the rest of the pink flames. Love the new look. Gonna take the long way to school tomorrow to get a feel for them, pretty stoked on how they felt just from sitting on the bike 
covered up a few more paint chips (came with the bike) with the decal they included.

You going to put together a How To with pics?
I already have it back together, but I could write something up. It really is pretty easy to change out the mirrors, but if you've never done it before I bet it could be difficult. Maybe tomorrow I'll write something up. I think there was a mirror how to somewhere on here already. I don't think it was for integrated mirrors though.

Yup, a write up on the install + wiring would be money. PS, im really considering the retrofit headlight too if the price is right...been wanting to do it for some time now.

Thursday I put my bike in my living room and installed my flush mounts and FE.
Today I rode 120 miles and then had my son do the redneck exhaust mod because I was too chicken to do it myself.
I have a set of Galfer braided brake lines to install but have no idea how to do it, so I'm waiting for a friend to come back from vacation so he can do it for me.
