Installed a Yoshimura R-77 slip-on. It is stainless steal with a carbon fiber cap. Sounds awesome! :steve:
Finally going to install block offs, my kit didn't come with anything to block off the hose, what options should I consider to do this?
Pics? I'd be curious to see it. Not too many have Yosh pipes.

bought a new rear tire yesterday, bridgestone hypersport s20 because i a got a nail in the old one. wasnt too disappointed because I got 8900 miles out of the BT-023's

Sorry I should of said something about what bike it was on.
Got my friends 6r at my place for the winter. We were trying to figure out if there was something Yoshi makes that could be retrofitted to the 6R. In the end Marthy is the way to go.

I got the biggest can Yoshi offers to fit lol, my signature link will show you
Installed block off plates, thought I chewed one of the allen head bolts up, lucked out and was able to get it out. The angle on the outer bolts is a pain in the ass.
Might have been the socket I was using on the wrench.
It is a tight space to work. Why you putting them on now? You've had full exhaust for a while, right?

Previous owner never did them, and he had he exhaust on.
I bought these to stop the backfire, Saturday night I started it up, warmed up and revved a couple times and got some flames lol
Lol. No backfiring with my viper with driven block offs and pcv.

Did nothing on my ride tonight. Well I might try to swap the timing chain tensioner when I get home. Almost 40K on my ride and been known to be an issue on the FZ6. Mine start to be noisy at start up... doesn't keep it's charge anymore I think. For $75.00 that's cheap insurance.
Just got done building 3 exhaust... look like 2 of them are sold! One of them is quite rusty. I need to buff it up. Might keep it for me... still need to fix my own to the 2nd generation style.
Next one that ship me an old beat up rusty exhaust in a trade in I'll charge a cleaning fee. Now that I take $100.00 deposit on exhaust.
