What did you do to your bike today?

Pirelli angels, protons, and pazzo shorty levers all this week. And an 8k service 1000 miles late. Don't worry, I got an oil change at 6k. Come on 2 weeks.

Need to go pick up some new wax! Needs some loving this week.

Rode it up the 101 and it was cold

I hear ya, went out yesterday and it was low 40's. Gonna pull the DBK out after inspection and hear that thing roar. Still haven't pulled mine out. Did you load Adv Gear Rev B map? You would have hooked into a pink speed sensor wire if you're using it. Awesome map from Marthy!!!!

I dont have the silencer and it sounds great. It would be loud for early morning neighborhood rides.

I never did install a speed sensor wire because i didn't look into it much. I dont know the size or wire to install. i would love to do that though.

I just have a sport map on there now.

yup, I had 2 rolls leftover from something I did a while back. Not sure what though. Don't need to remove the tank for this though. Should be able to prop it up, hook up the splice and run wire back to your PCV or up to it. Guess it depends where you put it. LOL! You'll see it under there if you look around. It should be the only pink wire.

perfect! is there a how to? ill search after this unless you have a direct link

MistahT has how to vids, but they don't show specific steps. It is very straight forward though. If you get hung up at all PM me or MistahT and we can walk you through it. So quick review, Lift tank somewhat and prop up (no need to take it off unless you want to), find a wire harness (not connected to tank) that has three wires and one is pink. Use a splice of some sort to connect your wire to the pink wire. Run wire to your PCV. Loosen screw for the port that the Speed wire goes in ( I know it's the 3rd one just not sure which side). It has it in the instruction that come with the PCV. I have a copy downloaded on my phone because I lost the instructions until I finished of course. Gotta twist the wire tight to fit it in the hole and you'll need a jewelers screwdriver (them screw heads are tiny). Put the rubber cover back over the screw heads and put the bike back together. Oh, don't forget to load the Adv Gear Rev B map before you put everything back.

Sweet! ill get to that next weekend. i work out of town so it's a bummer not being able to ride whenever i want. Thanks Scott!

Yamalube cleaner works really well too I've noticed. And it smells pretty good too. If u have teenagers at home, I'd keep it locked up. Hahahaha

That said, slapped on GYTR carbon fiber heel guard covers, b'cuz my heel guards were getting cut up by my Sidi ST's. (not sure why/ how). It's a very subtle change, but I like how it looks. :)
