I just order a shims kit for the Ducati 907 IE. (My Boss bike) Engine was starting to run a little rough. So I looked at the exhaust valve gap (front one for a quick look) off tolerance. Desmo valve adjustment. It a little bit intimidating, but since I always had more balls than judgment... That should be a good challenge!
Ok, so what is the big deal with the Desmo? There's nothing in there!!! Seams very user friendly and changing shims is quite easy. Just had to buy $300.00 of shims to have a selection. Should have my shims later this week. Fun job!!!
The only thing that always put Ducati out of reach for me was the maintenance (valve issue) Now I see things different! Still don't give me $$$ to buy one right now.lol
