What did you do to your bike today?

I just order a shims kit for the Ducati 907 IE. (My Boss bike) Engine was starting to run a little rough. So I looked at the exhaust valve gap (front one for a quick look) off tolerance. Desmo valve adjustment. It a little bit intimidating, but since I always had more balls than judgment... That should be a good challenge!

Ok, so what is the big deal with the Desmo? There's nothing in there!!! Seams very user friendly and changing shims is quite easy. Just had to buy $300.00 of shims to have a selection. Should have my shims later this week. Fun job!!!

The only thing that always put Ducati out of reach for me was the maintenance (valve issue) Now I see things different! Still don't give me $$$ to buy one right now.lol

Did the projector mod. Unfortunately I can't figure out why my low beams don't work, but w/e. As long as I have my high-beams I guess I'll be fine. :thumbup:

Looks like the retrofit source kit....call them up, they will help you out.

I did call them. But they can't figure out what could be causing the problem and since they're only available during working hours, I can't really take time to take the bike apart and troubleshoot with them. I may try and call them again tomorrow during my lunch time and see what we can do. I'm a bit upset that this stuff was not manufactured with the quality I would expect for $150.00+ and I may just ask for a refund if they can't help me fix it.

Always confirm every part works before resealing the housing. I learned that one a long time ago... Cost me a lot of money too...

Sucks about your situation though, hopefully it turns out to be a simple fix like a wire hooked up wrong or something.

To be honest, they are hardly visible during the day time, but plenty visible at night. They do not have a steady on feature like our stock ones due, but this wasn't a big deal to me because I've installed accent lights for visibility. But you really can't beat the price...

Indeed. And it didnt help that i had to commute a couple of weeks on it and ive done a bunch of rides with the family that were long and pretty much straight and didnt use the edge too much.
