:( apparently there's $4000 in damages to my bike. Haven't heard from the insurance adjuster yet but heard that he said it was border line between repairable and a write off!
Yeah, I'm not worried about the minor rash. It's the impact and twist to the knee and ankle that has me icing the crap out of them. I can barley walk but I'm forcing myself no matter how shitty it feels.
I always wear all the gear I have, was going to look into knee/shin armour but I guess I didn't do that soon enough. I'm just glad that i'm not one of those tank top, shorts and flip flop weraing guys...
The pics off the bike don't look too bad, but either the forks are bent or they twisted in the triple tree and the whole metal support for the headlight housing / mirror mounting area is bent to shit!!! you also cant tell that almost everything on one side of the bike is eithr cracked or...

From looking at your pics they just slapped the fairing on without lining anything up. Just make sure the upper part of the fairing lines up where it mates the upped fairing just below the fake air intake.
