Premium fuels only really an advantage if you raise the compression or advance the timing. Our bike doesn't have a knock sensor to advance the timing so no real benefit.question for marthy or anyone else that might know...is there any benefit to using premium octane fuel with exhaust, pcv, and adv rev b map?
You can shave the keyway of the timing trigger to advance timing. I did the cam swap and Airbox mods, but never did the trigger. The manual states 87 is fine, but if you hear any knock or ping to run a higher octane. I run midgrade (89), but also run 87 and every once in a while 92. Higher octane fuels due tend to burn cleaner leaving less carbon deposits on valves. Is there any performance gain, nope.Premium fuels only really an advantage if you raise the compression or advance the timing. I believe I have the adv gear Rev b map, but that's the only one I have that would work with your setup. You have to hook up the speed sensor wire to use that map. It's super easy while you're in there hooking everything up. I have to work tomorrow, but I'll look on my old laptop for the file. I don't use that map anymore, because of upgraded cams.It looks like the links in the first thread are dead.
My pcv is on the way and I'm looking a nice solid map for a 2012 FZ6r with a full TBR exhaust. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [email protected]

If Scott can't find it, I know that I have a copy of it too. Thanks Scott!
I was looking over the pcv installation instructions: "Speed input - PINK wire of 3 pin WHITE connector under fuel tank. Speed sensor is located on the engine case near the front sprocket cover."
Doesn't seem too hard.
Ultimately I'd like to get Autotune set up, but I'm not ready for all that yet.
Thanks again for your help!

If you have it handy go ahead and send it. I would have to track it down after work and am not sure where I have the file. ThanksIf Scott can't find it, I know that I have a copy of it too.

Advgear RevB has been the best one used by many over the years. FRom this map you have Sport (1-4th gear) and Touring (5-6th gear). You need to hook up the pink speed sensor wire to the PCV for this map. If you can't find the map I can email it to you, just inbox me your email.Hey Guys, which one of these maps do I download to my PC fuel controller? I just have Marthy's Delkevic slip on exhaust, and then also installed block off plates. Just looking to get rid of the 'running lean' issue and maybe gets some more power from the map.
