What did you do to your bike today?

Cleaned and tested my oil cooler. Found the weep to be in the inlet pipe where the last owner tweaked the pipe when putting on the oil line and did damage to the solder joint. Was hoping it was the oil line.
Ordered another one off eBay to replace it.....drat!

Adjusted the rebound dampening on the rear shock and got rid of the hop....

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY:D:D:D

made sure she is all set to ride in 20-40 degree weather. I'm not ready for it, but with gas at 3.75...

my bike gets about 33 mpg, and my truck gets around 15. i can shiver a bit for the 10 mile drive.

Yeah I'm debating on buying myself a second bike, so that I can have it for riding in the winter/rain. I'm not taking my daytona out in the salt.

My trucks LS2 guzzles gas hard though and premium gas is at 4.05 here  Which is not a huge deal considering I don't drive far to work, but still yet a 100$ fill up sucks

i hear ya, If we would of had snow/salt on the roads this winter, I wouldn't even be considering it. I think they put salt down 2-3 times, and we have had plenty of rain since then to wash it off.

It's the same way here, but sadly all the salts not gone just yet. It's pouring out right now though so most of it'll be gone now, but it's suppose to snow tomorrow. Which sucks. They haven't salted much, but the times they have salted they DUMP it.

replaced the frame sliders last night in a unheated garage.... can't do any riding here SALT & Sand all over and it "snowed" again last night and its been rainy to so icy as well

I paid $415.9 a gallon yesterday to fill my Tacoma that gets CRAP mileage. I need to do a 60 mile loop today to exchange some single beam HID lights for hi/lo ones and a harness so I'll do that on the bike. I need to break in the new Dunlops. I have to fill up my tank to do it as I've only got about 40 miles of gas left in the tank. I also get 33 miles to the gallon on the bike with street driving only and making a 4.5 mile commute each way to work. I'm wondering what my freeway mileage will be? I use Shell Premium in the bike so I expect $4.55 to 4.65 a gallon to fill it today.

You paid $415 dollars for a gallon!? Bloody hell and I thought uk prices were bad. ;)
