What did you do to your bike today?

Got my new zx-6r mirrors on my baby now. Pictures soon. : )
 
Took the rims stripe out and all the red decals looks clean. Went for a small ride end up riding for almost 2 hours with my girl and friends mad windy in the rochester but we had a good safe ride.
 
rode Highway 94! and bought leather pants
 
Got a rear stand so I could clean and lube the chain. Now I don't have to roll the bike around to clean the chain anymore!!
 
Dusted off the bike and gear, then went for an hour ride or so up and down the Pacific Coast Highway.

I love riding next to the beach, with the nice ocean breeze and hot babes in bikinis. :)
 
Took my wife for a ride up to Julian. Nice to slow dawn and just cruise once in a while. ;)
 
I looked at her in pieces. Waiting on my retrofitted headlight from Chad. Should hopefully get it before the weekend. Got lots of yard work done since I couldn't ride though.

You'll see the chain guard in the far right on the below pic. Truth be told? Though you and I consider that a proper cleaning, it's not a "full" cleaning.

Back when I had my '82 CB900F Supersport? There are guys on that forum, with pics, who literally take the bike apart to clean it over the winter. I'm talking frame down. Way to hardcore for me.

It was good to get the parts of the tank that are always inaccessible because of the plastic. Same for the other parts of the bike and plastics.

It's all been washed and waxed for protection.

Oh, and that's my Givi's with the rack, too! Damn but that bike looks good! Holy cow! It's got my adrenaline up just looking at those pics! :D

Not even one "like?" Too hardcore for everybody? That's just washing and waxing. My God, what about your chain and cables and such??!!

How about your spark plugs? If you are not willing to wash the parts that are covered by the plastic, thank the Lord that Yamaha built a bullet proof bike.

Your bike is a piece of machinery. It may be a really good one, but it's still just a machine and it needs care and love.

All of it. Not just the easy parts. :mad:
 
I took the wheels off my baby. The front tire is way beyond gone and the back tire was getting there too. My Michelin Pilot Road's should be here tomorrow and I'll get them mounted.

I know! That's what I thought! But I guess the majority are like that. weird huh? I could have used one of the links that we cut off to put in there, but we had to grind the pin down in order to use the chain breaker.
