Put the wheel tape on. I love it. Now debating on whether to get a tinted windscreen or not.

Rode it to work and continued to try and teach myself how to correctly do the blip downshifting thing. Got it a few times

I finally got around to putting on the Givi racks and luggage I bought from Heineken months ago. I was waiting until I got my new bike before I gave Liara a fat ass. Here she is:
Now all I have left to do is put on the 17 tooth front sprocket I just got, and she'll be a full on touring bike.
The wife and I went for a two hour ride yesterday after I got all the Givi on, and she likes it much better now that she has something to lean back against! Plus we went to a local wine shop who were having a sale on wine, 6 bottles for $60, and the six bottles fit in the top case with no problem. Probably more weight than they recommend, but I didn't notice any issue on the short ride back home.

now all you need is to put an LED array behind those reflectors on the case... That would look good.

I'm glad to see the repairs on the bike are going well. How did you fix the cracks in the fairing?
Also, how goes the personal healing? Haven't heard from you in a bit.
Whats up guys??? Missing me? I got done late last night driving the support car for the Mille Miglia here in Italy. That was just insane!!! I have no words to explain whats that all about. 37 hours of totally madness driving on the edge, slept 3 hrs the first night and 5 the other.
1000 miles rally through Italy finest twisties, cities, mountain. NO RULES, WAY ABOVE THE LAWS. All you need to worry is not get lost and not kill yourself! Its the best way to explain it.
Riding through cities with stone pavements on road wide enough to fit 1 car, blowing countless red light and stop sign, passing double line single highway... sometime 3 wide (aka your passing someone who's passing someone... 3 wide), driving against traffic. Line splitting with a 3000 lbs cage... You name it, we did it! That was the ultimate squid dream!
I did enough infraction in the last 3 days to get about 3 life sentence... And the Italian authorities might have enough speed trap pic of us to put a pretty dam huge photo album too!
I saw a lot of nice cycle also. 1 white XJ6 park on the side of the road. A lot of Triple, Dicati and Moto Guzzi.
I'm still in Italy, leaving tomorrow am and be back home late. So I'll get back to you on Tuesday and will post few pics.

One last thing... huge hearthquake by 4:00am here last night. We had a goodshake here in Brescia but the epicenter was in Ferrera (there the day before) 4 persons died

Rode around town until I hit 4000 miles (3992 when I started). Changed oil, oil filter, replaced stock air filter with K&N, synced my throttle bodies. Just got everything put back together.
Tomorrow I'm gonna stop by the drug store to pick up a syringe with a 4" 24ga needle so I can lube my clutch and throttle cables.
Hopefully this is the last bit of maintenance I need to do for a month or two.
