I've been commuting with the 'ol bike and I still just love it. By the way, almost 80 degrees F in Atlanta today. Rode into work at 50 degrees...quite the temp swing. I really find the FZ6R to be an ideal commuter. Until I do more touring than commuting, I just can't imagine moving to a different bike. That being said, I do see the FZ1, Fazer8 or Ninja 1000 in my future....

Got the idea for this off my VW forums...basically say what you did with your bike on a given day, could be mods, or just the fact that you took it for a ride. I'll start...

Went and picked up it from my dads so I can ride it tomorrow. I got to try out my new leather jacket and gloves. Felt fantastic to be back on it. :iconbeer:

I got to ride it for the first time this year! :thumbup:
Ieven took the wing to work , then a nice ride on the FZ to loosen her up a little.

Adjusted front and rear tire pressure and washed it.

Adjusted tire pressure, installed Driven 17 tooth front sprocket, adjusted the chain, washed, waxed, and got all my gear out. Took the bike on my first ride of the year! It was a little chilly, but I got 100 miles in today

I haven't done anything today, but it was a busy week. Changed 2 sprockets and chain, 2 new tires (Continental conti motion), oil and filter change and I build myself a "summer windscreen" Well the first part is done, I will do the spoiler part this week...

I replaced the spark plugs, air filter, coolant, helped a friend do the same on her bike, plus oil change and chain clean/lube, then we helped another friend with air filter, juice box and oil change on his ZX14, got 4200 pics to prove all this, video will most likely process over night and I'll post it as soon as it will uploaded to youtube.

Looked at her this morning, didn't ride her cause of potential rain. Cursed Yamaha for all my troubles.

On the way home I stopped off at the bike shop and bought some supplies, TLC on the chain tomorrow.

Sat on 8 different 2011 models. Realized the most comfortable bikes for me are all Liter bikes.

yesterday I scraped my peg... sorta double slammed it (I knew it was coming because I did it in that turn before, but still scared the crap out me)... once I hit it.. and shifted my weight off it a bit, realized I had to hit it again because I'd committed to the turn...

then today... took it a bit tamer and just rode the same route at a mild pace ( the nice statie "warning" from yesterday might have had something to do with it too)

put on a tank pad today, i think it looks pretty slick. also went on a ~3hr ride with a buddy. it was absolutely incredible! i would have had a smile on my face more if i hadnt been concentrating so hard on the road (not that we were at a race speed by any means, but i didnt know the roads). some insane twisties (and scenery too!)

installed a center stand last weekend.

Been working on the 2nd part of my windscreen. Template is done, will try to cut it off tomorrow... Maybe all install by tomorrow evening...

Changed oil and filter. Replaced air filter. Swore like a seaman trying to put the plastics back on. Washed and waxed it lovingly and went for a brief (25-mile) ride through some nice twisties (High Bridge Rd).

Rode around with some friends all afternoon and got dinner before I pack up and get back to the dorm. And added on of the GoPro adheisive mounts to the helmet and letting it set a week before use

I let mine set overnight before I did the gocart track, just cleaned the helmet real good with alcohol and let that dry.... We use that type adhesive (the 3M) at work on our overlays... 24 hours is plenty of time for 90% (or so) full grip.

You can always tie it off with some small nylon rope if your not sure about it.
