What did you do to your bike today?

Do they do bike inspections at your dealership? I have to find a place, not many options out here.

I got Michelin Pilot Road 4s. Was set on the 3s but when the 4s came out I decided to give it a go.

i believe any inspector can do bike inspections(in va), could very well be wrong on that though... i know my dealership does do them, but mainly for employees (and the main inspector can be rather strict)... right around the corner from my place is a motorcycle dealership (loudoun motorsports) though, they could prob help ya more than i could

Got my new spike bolts and pegs. Didn't install the back ones, because they will require some modification. Hardware from 6R pegs had to be reused. The pegs are for the R6 and the pins are way shorter and don't come out the other side to out the clips on. No biggie! Didn't ride with them today but sat on her and the pegs felt good and look better.

Check your clearance at the frame underneath before you shorten your pipe anymore.

Bert is right. It can go shorter but the slip-on will hi the frame... I didn't care on mine... my 5lbs hammer fixed the issue...LOL But the fit look nice! Great work!

Put R6 front pegs on a few days ago. Yesterday and today I put a few new stickers including the Iron Cross red skulls on each side, reflective rim tape, and stomp grips.

Said fz6r on the packaging. Maybe the same as the r6 Stomp Grip though. Just had. Peel specific info with it.

Took her for a spin (only about 12 miles) yesterday in between rain clouds. It was nice in the morning, but I was busy until early afternoon. The afternoon was nice, but my wife and step-daughter left for a few hours unexpectedly and I had to stay home with my 10 year old son and his 3 friends and then my brother in law asked me to watch his 4 kids for a few hours (age ranges 4-9 I think, oldest 2 are twins). So when my wife finally got back it was raining , but eventually stopped and the sun came out so I geared up and went out. Roads were still a little wet and I missed a stop sign cutting through a shopping center and locked up on the wet road. Luckily it was in a straight line and I made a quick decision to let off and go through the stop sign. Overall nice ride. Weather here has been really crappy. Either too cold in the morning to ride to work or raining. Hope the weather gets better soon.

Yeah, A tree blocked it until I was right on it. Wasn't going too fast, just no time to come to a complete stop. I ran like 2 or 3 scenarios through my head in a split second and saw no one coming toward me or from the right (no street to the left of this intersection and it was within a shopping center not on the actual roadway). So I let off the brakes and continued on my way. I could have put my feet down and stopped, but would have been in the intersection. Had it been completely dry it would not have been an issue. I am actually going to complain to the township since I don't know who the responsibility lies with for the trees. Could have ended much worse had someone been coming out. Certainly not a death situation at the speeds in the lots, but could have caused some damage and injury.

I learned something today - I have this annoying habit of moving the bike from side to side when shifting - Now I know that if I push with my right foot just so, it acts as a counter weight, stabilizing the bike and I don't look like I'm drunk anymore!

That's really peculiar. I have never had that issue at all.

Not sure how shifting would require counter weight....
