Any plans for an ABS option in the sport class or the FZ models?

I imagine that would be easy to implement seeing as the Aussie ones (and maybe Euro) have it as standard.

I got no question ideas, but I support the one about a higher spec 6R. A lot of people chose this type of bike over an R6 as it is more comfortable. Suzuki has a similar line with the GSXF's.

What about instead of up-specced 6R the possibilities of a FZ8R (or XJ8F/S/N for the rest of the world)?

Got a question.... What about motorbike manufacturers placing pressure on the state governments that do not currently legislate helmet use? You have a pretty shocking first hand story to share. Could also mention road worthiness of 2nd hand bike being sold by dealerships (sorry not sure on local laws regarding this.)

I want a FZ8 with the fairing of the FZ6R, Raven with gold wheels and minimal graphics like the 2010 model. AND better fuel milage.

Perhaps you could bring him a list of the most common mods performed here on the forum. And explain that while we understand some things have to be done a certain standardized way to make the bike legal across all 50 states, the styling of those compromises isn't sufficient to make most owners accept them. The turn signals and mirror design perhaps being chief among them. Maybe for 2012 they could consider upgrading the design of those things so that they still conform to standard but are a bit more "cool" looking.

Or at least offer factory bolt on parts as an aftermarket accessory in those states where you don't have such dumb restrictions. I think alot of people would rather buy a turn signal or mirror aftermarket solution from Yammy that was a direct match bolt-on (and killer looking) than cobble somthing together themselves, from other bikes, or drill holes.

Remember the FZ6R is a price point/margin bike. Yamaha is not going to build motor performance kits for the bike, that is for the aftermarket or you buy a different bike. Check out the YEC kits for the R6, they cost more that the 6R.

I suspect the Prez wants to talk to the OP because his management chain spoke highly of him and they want to better understand how he has been so succesfull selling 6Rs.

I for one think it is time a leading manufacture brings it full force to the US. Back when motorcycles got a bad rep in the 40's - 60's with a couple movies and a ransacked town, Honda came out with "you meet the nicest people on a Honda" as advertising and with the foreign manufactures boosted in sells and motorcycles bad rep was lightened a lot. What we in the US need now is someone to step up and help out with awareness and positive reasons why with this economy that motorcycles are a great idea. All with intent, of course, to not only boost sales but to try and gain more riders with the idea that we are here and we will be seen so join us and live free! Maybe boost the advertising of MSF and push that idea 1000x more. I for one NEVER see anything in the US about urging people to ride and that anyone can take a course to learn. All I see are "Hey buy our bike because we are awesome!"
