some sweet projects manStarted on a 50cc Honda Ruckus, got a free Chinese 150cc bike thrown in.
Painted, stretched, and motor swapped the Ruckus to a 150cc engine.
Then got a GS500E,
Sold all three bikes to get my FZ6R.
Bought and painted a Ninja 250 for my wife.
Couldn't help it, plastidipped the Raven FZ6R orange.
A few of us bought a crap Ninja 250 and fixed it for my friend John (he rode scooters with us for a long time, then we all got motorcycles. Surprise baby made it so he couldn't afford his own. We look out for our own.)
Then we bought another GS500E for my wife as an upgrade. She tested and said buy it. She liked it, but then she decided her Ninja 250 was prettier, so we sold the GS. That was frustrating and in now way my fault, for the record.
Along the way, my little group also briefly owned a 1978 GS550, a 2002 GS500F, and a Ninja 500. These were project or flip bikes that slept in my garage.
About to peel the FZ6R and pick a new color >: )
Now I have many pieces from many Ruckus, and pieces from 3 different 150cc scooters sitting in my garage. Doing my first frame-up build with mostly salvage and spare parts. When it gets closer to completion, I'll post up a little build thread.
The bikes that started it all, both theft recover, beat to hell, and Ruckus didn't even run when I first got it.
