I went ahead and bought this full res one from a couple of months ago. Doug takes some great pics, but for the most part, he sits in the same spot and takes the same pics every weekend. I have pictures from him that are hard to tell them apart. This is one of the few different views he'll take from time to time so I figured I should buy one

Yesterday the weather could not have been better. Got out to the "playground" around 8:45, very little traffic, not even any other bikes around at that time of the morning out there. But Doug was there waiting. Rode about 160 miles, never went above 75º. Barely a cloud in the sky. Now this is why I live in San Diego. Not that 100º+ crap with thunder storms crap we've been having.

Looks like a fun track except for all the cracks and holes everywhere. Looks like it's beat to hell. Is it as sketchy out there with all the imperfections as it looks on video? Or is it not too bad really? I'm just a little spoiled by Chuckwalla out here. It's pretty much brand new, only a few years old and the asphalt is just pristine still.

Also, just listening to the engine, are you rev matching on your down shifts? It doesn't sound like you are. Might be something you want to try to learn. That technique helped my stability on corner entry a lot.

the 94 that goes through town? this must be pretty far outside town, have you ever been up to rockstore photos or highway photos up in l.a.? Id like to get down there for a ride sometime. Now I know to try the 94, I assume heading east
