layed the bike down.

ugh was in the ER from about 7:30-8 to 1 am last night. thought i was never going to get out of there. i sprained my left foot and broke a bone in my right forearm.

the doc was amazed when i told him i did a tuck and roll and that i didnt injure anything else

trying to get a hold of friends from home to come make the 500 mile drive to LA to come pick me and the bike up.

some pics of the damage to my bike.looks to be mostly superficial so far but going to have the shop look at it when i am able to get back to work and get a couple paychecks as i cant afford after paying all the unexpected expenses of my recovery from so-cal. thankfully the damage doesn't look to be as bad as i thought it would be at the time of the accident

Congrats on ATGATT! Sorry your bike took a beating, but it sounds like everything's fixable, and won't be too expensive. Thanks for sharing the details with the forum, and helping to make us better/safer riders!!

Foot peg

How did you fix the foot peg? I just bought a 09 fz6r that was layed over and it broke the foot peg and broke some of the aluminum that it attaches too.

Sounds like you may need more than just a foot peg,
Post a picture and more assistance will come your way
