JT's - 1986 corvette restoration

So over 13 years in the making.....
my uncle started this restoration back in 2000 (he got ahold of a body / shell and it was a for his 8 your old kid at the time (my cousin) so he was in no rush.)
well my little cousin is now 15 and says he does not like it so I kicked his A$$ :bitchslap:then I took over finishing the car for me!
So he painted it and had a cleaned up engine dropped in.

I in the meantime have re done the interior striped it all down cleaned up every single plastic in the thing and new carpet all the way around. I have also got a nice new double din touchscreen with Bluetooth and back up cam ect. to give this car some modern day tech.

I would say its looking better....however I would take look at the exhaust tips. They appear to be touching the bumper cover and that could melt!

Well I started by just cleaning some up with turtle wax ect. but some of the old stuff was a shade of blue with fake wood trim over it and the other parts car I had was all dark black so by mixing and matching the best clean non broken parts I ended up scuffing them all applying bulldog adhesive promoter a nd painting them all the same shade of flat black. that and new carpet it is really shaping up

You know that generation vette is looking better all the time. They starting to get pretty old now and you dont see too many clean ones anymore. The styling of them has become more appealing as the years have gone pass in my opinion kinda the same way i really like the way the third gen camaro looks nowadays more than in years past. The paint job looks pretty good on it man starting to look pretty clean. Throw some c6 wheels on it to give it a modern edge and that would be a slick ride! Good luck with it man!
