JT's - 1986 corvette restoration

I did a tube up just to cover basics since its been sitting too long. Ill check brakes tomorrow DMV fees all paid getting smog checked tomorrow also. I should have it on the road this weekend

I'm too tall to sit in a Corvette. Seriously, I tried but couldn't get my legs under the wheel...


Oh well..
 
Personally, I love that era vette...always thought it looked great... nice job so far...

as to height, I had an 88 formula fiero... had more leg room than most cars today... even though you're only like 8" off the ground... people looked at me like I was crazy, 6'1" climbing in and out of it... not a top end performance car, but super fun to drive

leg room is great in the vette front end is so long. it will look aswesome when im done just you wait and see

I got to drive a stingray and I had the same problem.I'd lift my foot off of the accelerator and my knee would hit the wheel before my foot was high enough to reach the brake.If I ever get a vette i'll have to rig up a brake lever for motorcycles on the steering wheel lol
 
You should take a pic with both your bike & your vette side by side...


I plan on doing the same with my Busa & SUV.
 
Soooo. After a week of enjoying my vette one night I get home check all the fuses and proceed to go to sleep. The next morning car won't start. Soooo I ruled out the battery, and checked all the fuses 3 times. Nothing!!'

So I went to check spark plugs and no spark so I went to replace the distributor coil and the ignition module still no start. WTF

At this point Craig like a great friend lead me to some links. And from there found out it wats the security system aka VATs. So I am now awaiting my VATs bypass. FML

im just razzin ya man.

me and my brothers always joke about shit when we text. if one of us post something cool, one of us always comes back with a text saying, no pics no care, or better yet, we could post a video doing 3 full donuts, and one of my brothers will say, no 4 donuts , no care.

just a lil humor basically saying, no matter what we post, it will never be good enough, but in all good fun , just joking.
