Mine is lowered 2" since I have Apex clip ons. It handles much better IMO. The only negative so far is the horn bracket does contact the front fender if you hit any big bumps and your going somewhat fast, but I have never had any issues with scraping the bottom of the bike anywhere.

So I finally got around to painting my forks. I used etching primer and semi-gloss black paint. I did take the forks off the bike so I could do a better job on them. I sanded them with some red scotch brite pads then cleaned them really good, masked them off and applied two coats of primer and...

I used a heat gun to get all mine off and then a little bit of "goo gone" to get off the little bit of glue that was left behind. Took me about an hour to do the tank, swingarm, and the "FZ6R" fairing stickers.

I have a 180 mounted on my bike and it works fine. My rim is at least 5.0 or maybe even closer to 5.5 depending on if you measure to the very outside of the lip. Either the manual is retarded or the guy I got the bike from put a wider rim on it.
