Alright so let me start this off with I went in to my local yamaha dealer to check if the clutch lever was in stock for my Seca 750 as I ordered it a few weeks ago and this is what I couldnt help but stumble across:
Two college kids in the shop waiting for the one kids bike. Now keep in mind it was roughly about 43* out with mixed rain throughout the day. Now while im waiting in line to talk to the service manager he is discussing the bike to the one kid. Apparently he brought his "New" bike in to get it inspected and to make sure everything is up to snuff beings he just got the bike, AND his permit! Well In the conversation between the two college kids and the Service manager and it went as follows
Service manager: "Well it looks like everythign on your bike looks good, except the rear tire, its considerable worn down the center, past the wear bar markings"
kid who brought the bike in: "Well the guy I bought it from said they had alot of life left in them."
Service manager: "Well I can see where he might say that selling you your first bike, but I really dont recommend riding on this rear tire, its bad"
second kid: "When I looked at it I thought it was good too, just pay your bill forget the tire"
Kid who brought the bike in: (paid bill) and as they walked off he said "I dont think that guy knows what he is talking about, the guy I bought it from said he races I think he probably knows a little more than him."
Second kid: "I think the tires were made for drag so you have more surface in contact with the ground"
By this point I was laughing so hard inside yet I felt so bad for these kids, I wanted to tel them they should reconsider the information but at this point I knew it wasnt going to do any good. The kid who brought his bike in to get looked at was in a sweat shirt and a camel back....he rode his bike there without a helmet....with his permit...(Illegal in this state)...and so while I finished up with the service manager I walked out and I know it was semi on the creep level but I HAD to capture the ignorance of these two kids....The one is in a sweat shirt and a camel back who came in without a helmet, and buys one(thankfully) to ride home with...and the second is in a snowmobile jacket which offers no protection for the road what so ever....these kids have litterally zero protection other than helmets....it just really bothered me, then to see the ignorance that will follow these pictures...:surrender:
(the guy on the yellow r6 is the guy who JUST BOUGHT THE R6, has his permit, and didnt have a helmet untill he bought one)

HERE IS THE KICKER
I pulled up behind them as they are sitting at the stop light, the guy on the left was revvving his bike in first gear moving back and fourth show boating with his other noob friend...They look at one another...and blow through the very visible red light....and they took off into town at a VERY high rate of speed.....
Here are my vids of these squids.... the first one is of them screwing around revving their bikes, I put the camera down before they noticed me, and missed them high revving in first, the second video of them is them running the light. I honestly am disgusted at the behavior of these guys and I feel so bad for the one kid who just bought his bike and he is being shown all of these bad behaviors.....

Please dont flame me for this...I just was baffled at these two...and to second guess the service manager about the tire? They brought it their to be INSPECTED...
