I sold my bike to a kid i work with and while he was at work his father took his bike and wrecked it. The kid only rode it once.

Check the triple tree tolerances, forks. There are ways to get her back up and on the road. Mine was "totalled" you wouldn't know it now...

The biggest problem is the big dent in the tank
Wondering if you can have it 'pulled out', the hole to pull it out sealed, brazed / welded, to reuse it. (obviously, pull the pump and make certain no vapor left in the tank first. :) There don't seem to be many 'great' fuel tanks for the 6R, been watching ebay, and every once in a while a decent one will come along but very pricey. If you watch, and are patient, you may find one though. :)
 
Best thing is to get a used one, if it even bothers you. It won't really affect anything. If you can, talk to some shops, it can be repaired
 
I might attempt to repair it myself. I do body work and paint cars, I'm just not sure with the curves of the tank how it will turn out. I'd love to find a parts bike with good plastics but nothing near me.
