Okay guys, I did it, took the time to install my wheel stripes, it was finally warm enough outside to do it, so I spent a little time doing it. I got a pic but it was getting dark. So, sorry about the poor quality. It wasn't a perfect job, the spacing isn't perfect, but I am sure that it will be good enough that most people won't notice, even when it is sitting still. Let me know what you think. These are the Raskal Grafik Reflective wheel stripes in blue.

Those look good. I have the blue FZ6R and bought the rascal grafik silver carbon wheel stripes. Haven't installed as the temp here in MT hasn't climbed enough yet. Might heat the garage and get it over with, but idk. Looks good on your bike tho. I didn't buy the blue stripes cause I thought it would be too much blue on my bike.

Edit: how much spacing did you leave between each stripe? I know you said it wasn't perfect but it looks pretty good.

I have a question for anyone who has the Puig Rear Hugger. How bad do you get sprayed when riding on wet roads? and is there anyway to lessen that

The rear tire hugger is for looks only. It isn't going to help with any kind of road spray. It would have to be on the opposite side of the tire for it to do anything like that. That is why the stock fender sticks out so far, it was to prevent road spray.

I finally got mine done, hopefully a good day will present itself so i can take decent pics of it not in the garage. Not sure how you did yours but I think I found a decent way of installing these. When I recieved my stripes they were all on a single sheet. Each tire has four sections per side, so I cut all the sections out into individual pieces. I then used the clear plastic sticky that protects the stripe to apply them. This keeps all the individual pieces on each section the same distance apart. As far as lining them up on the wheel, I used the writing on exact opposite sides of the tire. I installed one section on one side of the wheel and another on the exact opposite side using the writing on the tire as a guide. From there, I just split the difference with my eyes installing the other two sections. It's not perfect, but it works better then installing them in a clockwise manner. I highly suggest to anyone that wants to install these to install the first two sections on opposite sides of the wheel. Makes it much easier to reduce any major gaps between each section.

P.S. I have a new found respect for anyone that does decal or vinyl work :banghead:

Okay, so I got tired of my mirrors, so I decided to give the Kawasaki Ninja Mirrors a try. I just had one problem. I wanted the integrated turn signals that I had on my old mirrors...What to do, what to do. So then I came up with this idea... I have the hot bodies flush mount turn signals with the blue lens on the side of my bike. So I got another set of them, and decided to mount them on the intake trim. So here is my write up...

First I checked to see if they would fit in that location, and measured where I wanted to drill my holes. Then I drilled two holes so that the stud and wiring would go through the trim. Here are some pictures showing these steps.

This is how I wired them up. I put them on the opposite side of the factory harness connector, so that when I took my fairings off, I don't have to worry with the front turn signals.

I think it is one of those mods that doesn't stand out much, but maybe will when I am using them on the street.

So, for some teasers: Last night, I ordered a white LED lighting kit from CustomDynamics.com I should get them tomorrow. 37 LED's will really light up the bike.

I will be posting pictures tonight of my graphics that I ordered the other day. I won't be able to put them on just yet because the temperature is kinda low.

I am also getting my levers tomorrow (Finally after over a month) so I will be putting those on soon too.

Do a search and see if anyone has done a walkthrough. I actually don't have pictures of that right now. But what I did was when I took the stock signals off, I cut off the connector so that I could wire that to my flushies, so when I took off the fairing, I can just disconnect it like stock. But check the other post that you made, I responded with a color chart. You will have to check the instructions for proton, I know you can hook them up different ways. The wire color chart that I put up there should help you.

Okay guys, started some more projects tonight. I removed the Engine Covers and I am painting those blue and I also put the vinyls that I got on my fairings. They turned out nice. I got reflective blue vinyl, and I also got some pics. Let me know what you guys think.

I have vinyls that I am putting on the back of my bike tomorrow, but I will need light for that. Also putting on my levers tomorrow and my LED lighting kit.

The vinyls are a large tribal design, a tribal design with a star and Japanese kanji letters saying: Alice. I got the vinyls from Immortal Graphix.
