If you could find real blue carbon fiber, then I admit that would be amazing. Would look fantastic imo. However, I am unsure if such a thing exists. I have seen some items that very skilled painters have done a phenomenal job make look like carbon fiber. It would require close inspection or touching it to realize that it is not. Just my thoughts

No I am still correct. These guys recently opened their doors but they are in Canada, not USA, as a partner for European dealers so they can finally target N. America. They are shipping the products to specific US dealers BUT they will not be carrying the items in stock YET. Which is fantastic. I'm glad you found the site.

Early last fall I called the main European dealer that speaks english. There were no vendors in N. America at the time but they did say they were working on it.

I've actually seen real blue, red, and silver carbon fiber. For a short time, there was a little fad going through the R/C Car industry that I used to be heavily involved in where companies were making different color aftermarket CF chassis. Our chassis were all CF but some people wanted to trick them out in different color schemes.

I could only imagine the cost of covering that tire hugger with blue carbon fiber...I will stick with the Krylon Fusion spray paint, costing about $3.63 at Walmart. But however, I would think that blue carbon fiber would look pretty cool.

I just cant seem to get the Paint thing to work for me... I have a few blank plastic parts(not bike parts just scraps) and i cant get it to look good. i need to find someone to paint for me

As black said if i was rich i would not ride a FZ6R... lol... I may trade up to a R6 ... not sure yet. and i'm really not 100% sure what i think of it because its sitting in a heated wearhouse missing me and i'm waiting for the temps to finally get above 0 lol.... and i do not have place to keep it. Minnesota winters are not friendly to Riders

Hey it hit 50 in the twin cities today! I almost took mine out for a quick spin, but I thought about all that sand, salt, and pot holes and decided to wait a bit longer haha

I know how you feel Tmak, I live just west of the metro and i was debating taking my little bike out(88 EL250) but there is a bunch of chrome on it and salt/sand= NO Good...... it's really tempting because as a true minnesotan knows its going to get cold again and we will get a bunch of snow.... mother nature is very crule to Riders in MN

We went for a ride today, my fiancee was riding her new bike, and I got to ride mine since I have done all the mods. My bike sounds awesome, and feels like it pulls harder too. Overall, I am happy with the mods.

got a comment from one of my PS3 buddies today... "too much black"... yeah.. needs a few more red accents...

I think even with the stock chain guard... painting it red may add a nice touch... that is, once I get rid off all the mud from riding on my lane... horrible... brown and black don't mix

Don, I think that would look pretty cool. It wouldn't cost very much at all. And yes, I don't think that brown and black go together...

So it was nice this weekend, and my fiancee had just gotten her new bike, so we went for a ride. I snapped some photos of my bike since I have done all the mods. The only things that I haven't gotten done are the Pazzo levers because I haven't gotten them yet, ordered them two weeks ago...and the wheel stripes, because it hasn't been warm enough to do them. Here you go.

Nice, I like the Speed tactics FE, it is nice. I just had to be forceful to get it up in the area that it needs to be bolted to. You will most likely need to bend your license plate a little bit, because if you don't, and hit a bump good enough, you are going to hit your plate...

Look really sharp! You need just a little bit of white somewhere. Not too much, just a little graphic, fz6r, yammy.. not sure but just something. I will for sure change the Yammy sticker on the bottom for a white one.

Thanks Marthy! I agree with you. I need some white in there. I have the Yamaha Symbol on the windscreen, maybe some white lower would make it pop. Appreciate the input.

Okay guys, I did it, took the time to install my wheel stripes, it was finally warm enough outside to do it, so I spent a little time doing it. I got a pic but it was getting dark. So, sorry about the poor quality. It wasn't a perfect job, the spacing isn't perfect, but I am sure that it will be good enough that most people won't notice, even when it is sitting still. Let me know what you think. These are the Raskal Grafik Reflective wheel stripes in blue.
