Yep! If all goes to plan I'll race up to Boston then head off the slab for the back road. New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Quebec, P.E.I if I have time. If the weather is nice I aim North, would like to visit the big Genny in Bay James then back to Montreal through all the National park. I have 2 weeks to kill... Not sure witch way I will be riding back yet. Probably will do the BRP all the way to the Dragon then Charalogga skyway. Then back to WPB. Look like a nice +/- 8000 miles round trip.

Sort of need to time alone with myself. Nothing better than a long a$$ ride to clear your head and make a plan... that my kind of meditation.

Whoa, that's a huge trip! Sounds like a blast. I love the East Coast of Canada. Done it many times on various motorcycles. I could fill a week in Nova Scotia alone. The entire coast of Nova Scotia is made up of twisty, scenic roads. If I were you, I might try to cover less provinces/states and do 100% backroads. But I'm sure you have a great route already.

And I'm glad to hear you are doing it on the FZ6R, even when you own an FZ-9. That says a lot about our bike! It does it all, and in comfort! You will like the MRA lip, but don't expect miracles. It cleans up the air a lot, but you still get a fair bit of wind noise.

Not with my bike today... But took my Dad's Harley FatBoy out for a long ride with my uncle, cousin, and one of the Doc's from work who's a good friend. Went out to Palm Springs (Doc had a cardiac convention he was speaking at) and took the long way home down through Idyllwild and Anza. 315 miles total. I can say that riding that bike at 75+ in the wind without the windshield on it is not exactly comfortable. lol Once we were in the twisties it was fine. But hanging onto ape hangers at 75mph, especially with the 40mph headwind we hit on the 111, I felt like a big sail. Beautiful ride though. Other than some wind, weather couldn't have been better. And I parked next to an incredible Viper when we stopped in Idyllwild for lunch.

Got my Dyno jet PCV and K&N air filter installed today. My beast sounds better and responses quicker but I've noticed my gas is disappearing quicker now.

hi xorbe, got it from Yamaha FZ6R FZ 6R XJ6 Black Fender Eliminator Tail Tidy Black 2T s 2009 2014 | eBay but with the 4 led turn signals. Decided to keep the stock turn signal because did not want to cut original connector. had to modify the stock turn signal to fit.

Got some new shoes installed last week, new chain & sprockets this week, oil change done and ready to roll for a 2 weeks trip. West Palm to East Canadian coast trip then few days with my folks in Montreal.

Got my cylinder head all fixed up last night (jb weld is f'n awesome). Today got her back together and breathed life back into her.

I'm gonna tell you something (that you already know)...
2000 miles in 2.5 days. 2/3 of it on the flat slab and some twisties. I'm falling in li e with this bike all over again! Run great, ergo is spot on and I went 17/43 for this long trip. 47 MPG on freeway speed and got 57 MPG on the BRP riding easy... awesome.

In the twisties I could feel the suspension was not great and 50K wear out. Might need to invest few $ on a full on Racetech rebuilt soon. Seat is ok considering I spend 12-18 hrs a day on the saddle but won't mind getting a good one for the next long ride.

Holy hell batman!!! Better add some major ponies. My wife would f'n kill me. I thought I was gonna have to do a head swap when my cam gear bolt broke and damaged the cylinder head housing, but JB weld saved me from the extra work. Any idea how much the porting adds?

Made it to Montreal all safe. 4K mikes trip... need to do an oil change now. Crazy... an oil changr in a middle if a ride! LOL
