I actually got it on the road this weekend...probably 150 miles or so...even road to work today in all the fog...

What did you do to your bike today?

I worked on the cl a little bit, cleaned up the side covers, resealed the head lamp, got all the oxidation off the chrome bezel, removed and cleaned up the front fender! Slowly but surely making progress.
I dont want it to be perfect, i want it to show some age, but that doesnt mean i want it looking crapy lol

I have been letting mine sit in the garage....75 Friday....but rainy it was absolutely perfect weather going home Monday on the bike..

How do you like the R6 throttle tube?
I find the stock throttle tube touchy and my first inclination is that this would make it worse, so I'm curious.

I turned mine into a dual sport tonight after sliding sideways down a country road and missing a corner....I was already to launch myself off of the bike...but road it out...

Dang... How did you break that?
I am not sure I would trust it with 200-300 lbs of weight...

Lol I didn't break it. The person who had it prior had tightened a bolt in it till it snapped. I just bought the bike so I'm going through it fixing it up.
Btw I dunno who your putting on the back of your bike that weighs 200-300lbs but... You may wanna upgrade your suspension.. lol

I feel ya. I just know I read somewhere (maybe the manual) that these bikes are rated for something like 400lbs. So if your 210 and ur partner is the same or more. It certainly would be putting the bike at its limit. Not to mention geared up you'll be heavier.
My issue is I'm tiny and my girl is about 4" taller than me. So when we ride (not to mention if I tuck) it's like having a sail on the back of my bike. Lol

Well if it's smaller stuff that you can ship. Perhaps I can help u out. It's become a lil side hobby of mine. Among the many others. Lol But Ive gotten pretty good at it. I don't have really expensive equipment so multi stage colors can be a lil difficult but I've done three stage and they've come out pretty good.
Did my buddies R6 rims just last week. But rims are a bit of as PITA. So I really only do those for me or close friends. Just to time consuming for a hobby guy. But hit me up lemme know what you got in mind

The battery tray and the tool box are two of the small things, just need them painted black. But im going to do the whoke frame, and swing arm.
