even the forum is teasing me to get a diavel
:banghead:
Just went to the dealer last night. I set on the bike, they didn't have one to road test, it will be back saturday and I 'll be there to ride and see it.
The numbers are great. I'll be paying $60 more than I was paying for the fz6r for a bike that is almost 3 times the price.
Just need 2 approvals. The bank and the wife.. I'll keep you guys posted.
If approved I'm gonna try to sell the 6R first because they are only giving me $5k for the trade in.

$60 more a month, how much more interest will you end up paying?
How does the tax work? In Canada, if I took $5K on a trade, I wouldn't have to pay tax on the $5K as it is deducted from the new price before the tax is calculated, so it would be the same as selling the bike for $5650.
I would think that the R1 would actually be a better street and city bike due to it having way more torque everywhere. If you keep the revs down and short shift somewhat (and if you have self control) I personally think it would be more fun on the street. Of course you have about a 30 pound weight penalty which would offset that torque advantage. Depends on the way you ride.
