stupid stupid stupid! thats just what we need to be fastened to a missile that weighs a few hundred pounds and drags us across the pavement flipping us though the air as it high sides possibly breaking many vertebra and other bones and stuff.....that will surely reduce the mortality rate of motorcyclists........ not universal driver eduction on how to look for a motorcycle or riding ATGATT....

Law enforcement should insist, at least, that some kind of seatbelts be attached to motorcycles.

As if it wasn't already enough fail - last I checked, law enforcement dioesn't make the laws.

Might have a future GW rider here per that story on Honda!

I want a HIGH Powered Ejector Seat!! Then when you are driving along and something happens, bike computer or rider controlled of KNOWN Immediate impact, you punch a button, pulls your legs and arms in and shoots you into the air, you get wrapped into a big bubble ball and come bouncing back down (like those balls w/in a ball that some people ride down large bouncy hills.. Just dont shoot off under a bridge!

Gotta wonder though if some of these powersport division CEOs/Pres/VPs or so every get laughed out of their position for thinking of crazy things like seatbelts on a bike.
