Hey I joined a couple weeks ago but never introduced myself... :facepalm: So here it is Name is Travis and I'm from Shippensburg in southcentral PA. I'm 22 yrs old and been riding on various bikes for over a year now, though I only bought my 2012 FZ6R about a month ago. First bike I've paid more than 2k for and planning on keeping this one for a while Hopin' to learn a lot in here and once finances permit gonna start moddin'! Btw... for a job I am a commercial driver for a local construction supply company................

Hey, been on the forums for a while, never posted, figured id intoduce myself. Ex harley rider from NY and have had the 6R for a lil over a year now. 7k miles later and i still love it. Most of those miles are commuting. Only mods so far are fender eliminator and heated grips, and perhaps a exhaust down the line. comming from a bike that would wake up the neighbors every morning, the quiet is nice, but just a lil too quiet. Nice too meet all of ya!

Hello everyone, I joined back in early April and thought I did the intro thing, but couldn't find one from me. Anyways, I am 37 and currently live in Quakertown, PA (about 40 miles north of Philadelphia). I settled here after nine years in Naval Intel and currently work in a box/display plant running a large press. I am in my third year of my bachelor's in IT/Information Assurance and Security. I wanna get back to what I know and am good at. I have had my mc license for about 4 years but just got my first bike in April, it's a 2011 Raven FZ6R. I got my license via MSF. I would have had a bike sooner, but with Navy travel I was never in the states. I was looking at getting a bike when I met my wife in 2003, but financially we couldn't afford it until now. Lately I have been putting on about 25 miles or so a day and absolutely love my bike. I've already put a CW fender eliminator on, ZX6R mirrors, Shogun frame sliders. I also recently move my bars up and rolled them back a little. I may still put Woodcraft clip-ons and Marthy Viper exhaust (PCV/AIS block-off plate) on during the winter down time. I love this forum and lately find myself in here a couple times a day and now have tapatalk on my Galaxy S2. There is great info on here and everyone is friendly and helpful. Can't wait to get to know you all.

Hello all, my name is Joe. I am from the beautiful state of Maine. Completed an MSF BRC last weekend (had a learners permit when I was in college, but that was a long time ago, figured I was a bit rusty and could use some proper instruction). I bought my 2012 FZ6R Raven on 6/29 and it was delivered with 12 miles. Went to the BMV Monday to get my endorsement, a temporary license, and order my new picture license. Got home, and took my first ride on it (those two weeks were MURDER). Commuted with it yesterday, and today. This morning when I pulled into the office, odometer is already reading 111 miles. Break in period officially 1/6 complete.

I do a 40 mile commute daily to Quantico where I work as a civvie for the Marines doing math/stat and building simulations. Putting in lots of miles. This site is great and I look at it every day.
