OK Here's a good example of how I've used the photographers as a tool. The one turn that's always photographed on highway 94, I've always noticed a lot of inconsistency in my form, entry point, etc... Even photos taken the same day. See these two below. While they're from two different camera angles, you can see that in the first picture my entry is much higher to cut down closer to the apex (this turn you really need to late apex as it tightens up a bit on the exit) my outside arm is nice and relaxed and my body look more relaxed and I'm carrying good speed. In the second one, my turn in point was too soon, I'm too shallow in the turn, and you can see it in my body. I'm tighter, my outside arm isn't as loose, and I've tightened up a bit (SR#1 for those who've ready TotW.) I noticed that when I when through those pics after that ride and made a note to make sure I keep my body loose and free but more than that, consistent.

So this morning I actually got up early and left for a ride to just head out and ride. Wasn't planning on the camera guy being there because he's usually not there that early, no GoPro, nothing. So that in mind, I went to the usual spot to do some passes just to work on consistency. (I want to work on this a little before I get to the track in a few weeks.) but also wanted to just go out an enjoy the rest of the ride after that and not have the GoPro running the whole time. I make a couple of passes and on the third one, I noticed that Doug was sitting there with his camera as I was coming back down the hill. I didn't even see him as I was coming up (when these shots were taken.) When I checked tonight, I saw what I was trying to get. These two below are two different passes from this morning.
I kept having to look again to see if he just changed the exposure or something on the same image. I was so happy with the results. Now time to apply all this on the track.

Dang your form is looking better & better Jon. How fast are you going around that turn, and at what speed do you decide to hang off, or do you hang off for every turn?

Kasia and I rode the Harley out to George Washington's birthplace Saturday. Really nice national park. The outline we're standing in is the foundation of the original house where he was born. It burned down in 1779, and was never rebuilt. Great riding day, first time in forever it didn't rain.

Thanks guys. I don't really look at my speedo when riding like that. But if I had to guess, I'd think maybe 55 or 60. :don'tknow: Could be faster. I don't really know. As far as when to hang off, it's all a feel thing and hard to explain. I know what lean angle at what speed I'm fine just using a little upper body positioning. It's one of those things that you'll just learn to feel. If I were you I'd work on hanging off around most corners in the twisties. When you go around a turn and feel like you're barely leaning the bike or not even at all, you don't need to hang off. It's usually kinks and doglegs, that sort of thing. Pretty much all out turn I'll hang off and even a lot of sweepers and doglegs depending on how fast I'm taking them.

eh so what its a supercharged 5.0 (302) with 500 rwhp i had an 89 fox body that pushed that at one point... you dont need that save the money buy the stupid 6 cylinder that has 300hp and 32mpg that poops all over my yaris even though we get the same gas milage
