Nice pics Jon, where is that lovely stretch of road? I'd love to get a few shots of me going through there. I would end up going pretty darn slow through there so it wouldn't look as cool as yours, but I could at least get some nice pictures of me riding that aren't shot with my gopro.. I only have one friend who even thinks of himself as a photographer. He thinks he is because he bought an intro level DSLR, sets it on auto, and then edits the photos with instagram...lol. Is the guy from that site out there a lot?

Someone told me that the first picture makes me look like a lost Power Ranger

Its highway 94 about a mile easy of the 188 tecate turnout. Hes there pretty much every weekend one or both days in the mornings. Motofoto.us is his website. Chuck from hwy94photo.com hasnt been out there much at all lately.

That first link is exactly it. We call that the playground. Ill have to look on my computer later at second link. Cant really make it out on my phone. If you ever want to go out there hit me up. Id be happy to show you tue roads. I ride them almost every weekend.

many of you have asked for pics of my bike.....these arent the best but these are from around when i got the bike.... right now shes a little naked.. i dont have any pictures of the damage done to the bike but when i have time ill take some detailed pictures and show her off in her glory with all the new parts on board.... so here is what i have for now

the first pic is the picture before i picked the bike up

second is after her first bath and after the decals and mirrors were removed

my girlfriend took the third picture for her art class she bugged the hell out of me for a picture....i was in sandals she annoyed me enough to just put some damn shoes on and take a picture lol

the last picture is right after i put the new handle bars and grips on

ill have more pics to come within the next 3 weeks

Better to be poor and famous or rich and infamous? Wouldn't have been a bad idea to charge a few bucks for the maps.. I honestly haven't had a chance to try them out yet I loaded them up before I got the exhaust and haven't changed from the map TBR put on there. I was going to last night, but wanted to get out before the sun set. I really want to try out the touring rev B map and see how much I can push the MPG's. I used to get around 50mpg without the JBPro/exhaust, with them I'm getting 41mpg. To be fair though, I'm driving in the 75-85mph San Diego traffic.

Wow, check out your head position! You are in the zone, brother! Pic four is just awesome! Elbows in, spine in line with the bike, knee just above the pavement, you actually look loose on the bars, in a still pic! And now your head is forward and just behind the mirror.

It's easy being an armchair quarterback, no doubt. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good form when I see it.

That being said, are you hugging the tank with your outside leg? Looks a little loose...

And all THAT being said, man with that kind of form, you must be screaming through the twisties! Bike up, center of gravity down, loose on the bars, letting the machine do it's thing. What a rush!

Thanks for the compliments. I'm working on it and having fun doing it too.
My knee isn't really tight against the tank but my inner thigh is. That's actually one thing I am working on is my outside leg. I'm actually working on changing the angle of my foot and ankle, pushing down with my toes more which will raise the knee more and give me some more surface area to grip on the stomp grip on the tank and move the knee up into the notch of the tank.

There's a guy on triumph675.net who has a Daytona and makes them among other CF parts. I figured they'd be a good investment (at $100 they ain't cheap but neither is a new tank), since the corners of the tank stick out and are vulnerable in a low speed slide. Plus I came back to my bike one time and found the corner scuffed up from some a-hole. I was able to buff it out, but that cinched it since I had already been contemplating getting them.
