Rossi is getting there. He said that at last he is satisfied with braking and corner entry. Now is from mid corner to power-on exit that has to be adressed. They are going to test a modified engine which is supposed to have less power but a more linear powerband which may allow him to use less electronics and more control with the throttle...
I want to know what the hell is wrong with Ben this year. I hope the test tomorrow helps them figure something out. Yamaha isn't going to put up with back of the prototype group for much longer when their other bike is fighting for wins.
The Real racing this season is in Moto2 again. Holy shit that formula just works. I really like Marquez and he's really showing a lot of patience and control. Letting others make mistakes and taking advantage, almost like he knows what they're about to do before they even do. I do have a feeling if he gets on a factory Honda when it's time for him to step up he's going to be a force in the premiere class.

I was on the edge of my seat the first few laps of that race. Damn I want Ben to get a good finish again. He's had such crappy luck. But look at the ride he had after the crash. Up to 10th and not far from Hayden. How shitty would Hayden have felt being on a factory bike and getting passed at the end of the race by a guy who crashed and was in dead last, 20 seconds behind the next bike after lap 3. He'll win again this year, I hope. Maybe next year Lorenzo will go to HRC like people are suggesting when Stoner pusses out... er I mean retires and Yamaha will start developing the bike more toward what Ben wants and not what Jorge wants.

Marquez made such a great save and had no idea Pol was there when he cut back across him. No ones fault. I'm glad the stewards didn't take any action against Marquez. I posted this in the pictures thread but I'll put it here too. I paused the TV to go get a soda right when they were showing one of the 1000FPS shots and this was on the TV. I had to take the picture of it.

That was pretty amazing last night Lorenzo did fantastic (must be those mixed red & white leathers!)
But agree Jonkerr Moto2 was more exciting -go Luthi... what a chaser (when he decided to wake up) it was like he was just sitting back watching Marquez duche it out Iannone. Espargaro did look like he was sore after that knock from Marquez.

I finally got around to watching the Moto3 race just now. Holy crap!!! MotoGP really needs to take a look at their support formulas and get some racing like that at the top level.
Also, anyone who follows more than just the on track action needs to read this article.

What cluster all these rules are creating. Rules to try and help support the satellite and help them keep money and sponsorship are actually going to start hurting them. I don't see a solution that's not going to either cost a team either their sponsorship, their existence, or cause a lot of controversy due to rules being changed for one rider. If you're not familiar with the situation, read up and give me your thoughts.
Only solution I can see is to suspend the rookie rule for a couple of seasons, (so Marques isn't the only rider who could take advantage of it being lifted) or delay the proposed rule of only 4 bikes per manufacturer on the grid (which I think is dumb anyway... they're already light on bikes on the grid, now they want to limit it more?) and lift the rule that a team can't come in for a single year so Marquez can come into the premiere class on, basically his own bike in his own team as a satellite. I guess they could put him on a CRT bike, but I don't know enough of the CRT rules about teams commitment, if it's the same as the prototype teams. Bet even if they figure out where to put him, if it's not on a factory bike, who the hell is going to sign a 1 year deal to fill the HRC seat knowing they're just keeping it warm for Marques?

Lorenzo posted on his FB page that he re-signed (ie is staying) with Yamaha because he feels very strongly that there are things more important- such as teamwork, loyalty, gratitude etc. I'm guessing he means money isn't everything. I dont know who is your favorite rider, but mine is Lorenzo... Did you see what Bautista did to him in he first corner? Bautista was imprudent and sent Lorenzo out... What is it gonna be? Can the organization give Lorenzo some points? I dont think it is fair if it stays like that... Lorenzo was the chapionship leader... Bautista is from Honda carlos gresini team, though it is not the ofiicial honda team, this incident benefitted honda..
