Looks good! I actually did that too my copper/black bike and had it like that for awhile. Looks better on your all black bike though.

Hello my real name is Adam.

Thanks man i like it alot more :) ....yea i believe they are painted on not ready to go through the hassle of trying to paint over that right now

The tank graphics are actually a decal but they are applied under the clear coat of paint. If you run a finger over the edges you can feel the lip of the decal under the clear coat. I actually just finished removing my fairing decals last weekend and I am extremely happy with the result. Now to cover the tank graphics with a vinyl and I'll be all set!

awesome bike bro :)...i was debating if i should have left the fz6r but decided i wanted ppl to guess what i was riding haha

If you remove anything under the clear coat you need to completely sand and re apply the clear coat.

How hard is it to do this? I've got the High Fusion Tech Spec grips on their way to me to cover my decals, but I'd like to remove the decals just for the sake of not having them on there anymore. Is it a difficult / expensive procedure? Will it look like I did it myself or will it blend in with the stock easily?

Ah alright I'll just cover them with the decals to be on the safe side. Thanks Jesse

I will trade you straight up my 2011 raven tank if you want one without decals. I was at the dealer picking up some parts and I am already looking at buying the 2012 decals for my raven after seeing the 2012 in person. A matching tank would finish it all up :)
