I think band for the $ it doesn't get any better than this. No bike for newby. The peak HP is not mind blowing but the throttle is so responsive and the bike as so mush torque for the weight that its a bit hard to get use to it. You need to be gentle on the throttle in the first 2 gears.Congrats, Marty. Yeah, that is a lot of power for the money, prolly the best bargain on the market right now. I definitely would say this bike favors an experienced rider.
So far, other than being a very horrible bike to ride 2 up... I have nothing bad to say about this bike. The front wheel feel light a bit so I can see dropping the front end a bit but the suspension seems fine for what I need. The bike is so light... coming from the top heavy 6R... wow.
Glad I kept the 6R... I would have miss the comfort and the more "casual" power delivery to ride 2 up.
One more thing... bike run on premium juice. Big sticker on the tank.
