This is the town I grew up in. Sad to hear about this happening.
She should have been wearing a helmet for starters, even though that would not have helped the issue with being hit by the SUV once down...
Have to wonder though, how did she hit that debri? Was she following someone too close and not allow enough time to see and react to what the car in front avoids, or did she target fixate on it?! Also, what about the SUV, were they following too close, not paying attention?
What do you think on this our LEO members? Seems to me that if I were to hit another car vs car I would typically be charged with not having my vehicle under control and thus reckless driving under most circumstances... I would think same thing should apply here..

LITTLE CANADA, Minn. - The State Patrol is investigating a mishap that left a motorcyclist dead in the east Metro Wednesday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. on I-694 near Labore Road in Little Canada.
Troopers on the scene say the motorcyclist, a 22-year-old woman from White Bear Lake, was thrown from her 2001 Kawasaki sport bike after hitting a piece of tire tread in the road.
The rider was then struck by an oncoming SUV driven by a 61-year-old man, also from White Bear Lake.
Investigators say she was not wearing a helmet.
The man driving the SUV was not injured.
While the investigation into the motorcyclist's death continues, it appears no charges or citations will be filed in the incident.
