Hi all,

this is b6r from Calgary, Alberta, Canada

I recently got myself a blue 2009 Yamaha FZ6R.

my first (learner)bike was a 2011 HONDA CBR250R, as much as I enjoy riding that 250cc everywhere, it's very limited(highway passing, etc.).

not a fan of SS and their crazy insurance rates, so after a lot of research and test rides, I found myself this nice FZ6R. so far, I have put in ~500km in it, took it down the roads I used to take my CBR250R, and overall I really like it and its got more than enough power to get me in trouble

I'm looking forward to learn and explore more on this fz6r here.
already screw up the 2 plastic screws while replacing the stock windscreen, so that's a good start!

congrats and welcome, get ready to spend some money as this sight will show you all kinds of mods you never thought of but now that you have seen can't live without

You can get windscreen or upper fairing bolts (same bolt size cept the windscreen ones are plastic) on ebay for like 4$

Welcome. I did the same thing, had a 2012 CBR250R and then moved up to the 6r. Great choice.
