I did have a lot of fun despite having the slowest bike there, I wasn't the last one, I was passing this guy on his R1 all day long

Well I think this is a good moment to tease you even more, August 6th we are going to Autobahn CC, after 6 PM will be STT 2nd annual bike night party
) too bad you won't be here to join us .On the three straights anywhere in between 120-130 mph, then brake hard and dive into turns....that was my favorite bit.
We have quite a big group of riders who hit the track frequently, August 6th will be the next time out at Autobahn CC.

)Well of course the R1 will dominate. Heck it has 90+ more horse power! 130mph is damn fast tho. Been saving my pennys for a day at Road Atlanta. Never been on a track before.
That being said, is it customary to use the clutch for the upshift on the track?
On the street I hardly ever use my clutch except for down shifting.
Not critisizing, just wondering if its a track related practice.

Well the answer is complicated! No, I shouldn't use the clutch for upshifting, but I did. This past Sat had my second trackday, at Autobahn Country Club, I was much better, way smoother, no clutch for upshifting, downshifting went well...so smooth in fact that in the last session I dragged knee in three of the corners.... I had a blast, the video edit for this past Sat is pending, keep and eye on this thread )Were going for sure back to ACC Sept3-5, keep in touch and I'll let you know when we gonna be there. Be aware it sells out, Sat. - N Course, Sun. S Course, Monday - Full Course. Hope to see you there.
I actually might be off on that sunday and monday. Even if i don't "participate", i might go there just to see what the buzz is all about. see what I am going to get myself in to. :thumbup:
