Yes I do. Apparently I didn't read it like you meant it to sound.

Here's what I read:

1. Meh. It is a girly bike after all. At least this is how it is marketed on the Yamaha website. And the the balls have been extracted to make it like that.

2. If someone told me that - I'd agree about the bike assessment and reply that I will buy whatever I want/need on my terms.

3. I suggest to grow some thicker skin and let these things roll off of you.

OK. I've reread the post after breaking it down into content points.

If the second point was actually the focus of the post, and the first point was a paraphrase? I could see where a misunderstanding could happen.

Is that what it was? If so, quote marks would help that. I'll take the hit. My bad.

yeah, I believe his first line was the sarcastic sort of comment he'd make right back at the sales person. that's how I took it anyway, but I did have to read it a few times... text just doesn't always convey sarcasm/laughter/hate in a conversation well.

Any salesperson that says you should get a SS for commuting tells you all you need to know right there. I have walked out on so many stupid car sales guys, unfortunately there is not the selection of cycle dealers as there is car dealers, at least around here.

email sent. Thanks everyone for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Hearing your responses helped me not take it too seriously. Also I'm usually very un-confrontational about anything and everything (last week I ate a shrimp burrito when I ordered fish). So thanks for the encouragement to speak up and email the staff. I'll post again when they respond!

I got a nice email back apologizing. they had similar feedback about her from customers this week and terminated her employment because of how negatively she was treating customers.
