A Charity for a friends child

So since we don't have a Charity forum I figured I would post this here.
The following will include a link to a page that will describe everything this is about. The people involved are good friends of mine and even though this product they are seeking only costs $189.00 take in consideration they have already spent $8000 on the software the doctors prescribed for their child. The software was too difficult for the child to use on his own and they can not get a refund. I know.. damn doctors.. So.. lets do something nice for them and donate just a little for the cause. It'll all add up and will help since they are in debt, in between jobs etc. They do NOT know we are doing this for them and they have told me and my friend Darren that they were going to wait a few months after settling in TX. We feel it shouldn't wait.

Yes I know what you mean! My wife and I are thinking of "starting" a family in a year. it makes me nervous that's for sure. I too would have bought the thing but I've been paying wife's bills. SHe started a new job TODAY wooohoo

Like I said, I'm between jobs and moneys tight, but by golly did it put a smile on my face to hit that donate button! I didn't even think twice! This directly helps this little boy its not just to some foundation where we wont see the benefits of it for a long period of time!

It does feel good! For me it's what it cost to fill up my car. No restaurent this week... for a good cause. :canada:

I'm a single Father to a 41/2 year old boy. Life can be tough as times when raising a child.... Not to mention one that needs special attention. I hope God Blesses that child. I will pray for him and the family. I get paid tomorrow... I'll throw in $25.00 (theRook and Family)

My younger son needed speech therapy for several years when he was first learning to speak. I know how painful and frustrating it can be to not understand what your child is trying to tell you. I'm not able to do much, as I just had to start a new job, but I've thrown in what I can. God bless.
