75k valve adjustment. What all should I prepare to replace?

About to adjust my valves and plan on replacing any consumables (gaskets etc) regardless of condition. Since my FZ is my primary transport Im trying to get parts in hand before I start anything. I cant wait the 7 days for something else to come in. What all should I be looking at replacing? At 75k would I potentially need to replace any valves themselves? Is there anything else I should replace while Im in there?

Here's a snippet of the parts spreadsheet I put together back when I did the YouTube tutorial for this job:

In addition to everything above, consider replacing the actual tensioner while you're in there. If you want to go a step further and save potential trouble later, go ahead and remove the head and replace all of the valve seals. I waited until 55k to do my first valve adjustment, and it disturbed the sealing capability of the factory valve seals to the point where I quickly developed blue smoke on startup. I had to tear it all back down to replace the valve seals and fix that problem. If you do take the plunge on removing the head, be sure to clean it very well with Berryman's or something similar. Your valves will likely be pretty dirty.. I know mine were. Brass brushes are your friend. Don't forget a new head gasket (not included in the spreadsheet above).

Also, the valve adjustment job is a 4-part series on my YouTube channel, and I also did a separate valve seal replacement tutorial when I had to go back in there. This job is more time consuming than anything, but anyone with a factory service manual can do it! Let me know if you have any questions.

I was going off your video anyway I should have just shot you an email! How long did your valve adjust take total?

You are amazing dude. How many miles have you got your FZ6r too? I watched your fork oil video. What do you weigh? I ordered 20w. Just watched your timing advance video and Im definitely going to snag that timing wheel as well.

I tried your Hindle tune and it didnt seem to work as well as Marthys SUUPA FAT maps. But Ive got the map saved on my phone and I might try uploading it again and give it a whirl.

I'd rather watch your video lmfao

She turned 65k last week, so you've got me beat, LOL... I've been commuting on my Tiger, so it's been keeping the miles off my Fizzer.
I weigh 170 lbs, and the 10W is fantastic.
Maybe give the Hindle tune another go once you've done the timing mod... I've been meaning to try Marthy's map again since advancing, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

It took me a weekend to perform the valve adjustment from start to finish. I can do it in a day now that I've got two full teardowns under my belt.
