Forgot to add. In Craiglist L.A. There is a person, who has been posting for at least 3 month trying to sell his Raven FZ6R. It reads- 2007 FZ6R.... No wonder he/she cant sell it, even w reasonable price.
Also, another one says FZ6R, but it is a FZ6 being sold.
You would think, if someone wants to sell an item, especially a luxury item such as MC, you would think they would be more careful.

Have also seen multiple yellow "2011s" for sale around here. One of the local stealerships (OK, it's DelAmo) is notorious for "adding" a couple of years to bikes in their used inventory, then hoping you won't notice the fine print when they put the actual paperwork in front of you.

And that picture of the kid climbing on it is EXACTLY what would convince me to buy his bike...
I'd love to get a look at this moron's resume. If he sells himself as well as he sells his bike, I'm sure he's on the board of directors for a Fortune 500 company.
Looked at a second time? One has to wonder that if the person selling the bike doesn't know what the heck it is, perhaps it's because they did not buy it?
I'd be seriously checking the serial number on the title, vs. the serial number on the bike, and critiquing both.
I've spent the day planning how to put in a whole-house water filter, and it has me thinking analytically. I happen to be drinking a beer and re-reading this thread. The possibility of a stolen bike is something I should have picked up on earlier.
It's ironic how one's current thought process changes one's perception of a previous event.
