WoodCraft Handlebar Mod

Hey there riders. Im in a dilemma right now to make a handlebar modification to my Yamaha FZ6R. Ive seen youtube videos of riders changing out their handlebars and replacing them with Woodcraft 41MM with 1.5" risers. And it looks like it seems to workout for them and their bike. ( the handlebars dont scrape fairing) However, im a little unsure since ive talked to motorcycle mechanics and they said you might scrape your fairings. (on top of that i would have lower my forks about 1 1/2 inches.) I just dont know what to do.

No offense you posted in the right section the first time but creating a duplicate thread wasnt neccisary... woukd a mod minde integrating the two? OP refer to the old thread by scott thomas he was on recently and may be able to help.

Further more the answer your looking for was already posted in that thread, second post, sounds to me he had the same set up your talking about
