Will 2005 R6 header fit 2009 FZ6R?

Have chance to buy an R6 header from 2005 R6, is it any different from the 2003 headers that fit this bike?

from my understanding its the same 2002-2005 R6 and changed in the 2006 model year.
but your best bet is wait for somebody to double confirm

would be good to know what the differences are , there's some 2011 R6 headers going cheap near me at the moment

Most of the ones I see advertise as being for a group of years, for example 2002-2005. I would imagine there's been additional changes to the r6 by 2011 if our bike was based off the '04 engine. Would love to hear from those more versed in the differences as well.

This is so you can do your own thing but use the where used function on these sites. Keep in mind that color changes can make a new part number!

the pictures on that site dont seem to show a difference between the 2004 and 2007 headers , but i know the australian bikes had a big under cat box from 2006 at least , not sure if its the same in the USA
