Hey all, i know there's a bunch of threads talking about upgrading to adjustable forks. They've all been about converting the standard 43mm stock forks to inverse forks from 05+ R6 bikes that are different diameter, which is quite a complicated job. I did some research, and I found that the stock fz6r forks are the same diameter as the 03/04 R6 adjustable STANDARD forks. They are both 43mm. Since they are both the same size, would they be able to slide into the fz6r triple clamps? Or are the R6 fork tubes a different diameter at the clamps? Obviously if it was to be successful, all the gear that attaches to the R6 forks would have to be installed onto the bike, meaning the rotors, calipers, axle and wheel. I've also found that the previous generation (the first gen) R6 has the same width fork tube, although the travel is 10mm greater. Has anyone tried doing this conversion?
