sunglasses...

I use the Oakley Half Jackets also. They actually fit nicely, but I dont even try to get them to set down on top of my ears. I just push em into my RF1000, there are some relief slots in the sides for sunglasses. They also get pushed almost against my face, but you dont notice it after a couple of mins. I also have a smoked shield, but as mentioned in a previous post... if you are heading out in the afternoon and coming home in the dark, or the weather is gonna change, the sunglasses work great. Only prob is, its getting cold here in upstate ny and you get some fogging when stopped.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I tried wearing some shades under my Icon lid for the first time today, I have Spy polarized glasses (don't remember the model, Vega maybe?). They fit well enough under the lid, however I panicked when I tried to read my speedometer and all I saw was a black blob. Turns out it was just when viewing through the glasses. I also saw very purdy rainbows when looking through my clear visor, and the windscreen as well. I had to take off the glasses, it was making me sick. A quick google search seemed to show this was normal with polarized glasses, just wondering if anyone else had experienced it.

I originally found out about the Gatorz glasses when I used to skydive a lot. I could wear them without goggles and even the 120 mile an hour winds didn't bother me due to their close fitting curved contour shape. Later I would wear them during spring snowboarding when I didn't want full size goggles. Now they fit up under my helmet and I forget I have them on. Here is a website with some of the brands (octane for example) Gatorz Sunglasses. Only problem is they aren't $4.00 glasses but considering what I've spent on some other glasses over the years, $100 isn't TOO crazy. The frame is metal also so they're very durable.
