Stock handlebar measurements?

I'm looking to replace the stock handlebars with something that is lower and that doesn't have so much of an upward bend to the bars. I don't want to do clip-ons and I've read all the posts with the Renthal bars, but I don't see anywhere here that tells me what the stock measurements are. I understand the bars are 7/8 think, but what is the lenght and height of the stocks. I'm trying to compare those numbers to the other brands I'm looking at.

I might go with these DMV Handlebars for $50 or the Rizoma's for $83. They say the measuements are 22mm (7/8 in) thick, 91mm (3.58 in) High, and 730mm (28.74 in) wide. I'm at work and can't measure my stock bars so I'm not sure if this bar is lower or higher. Does anybody know what the stock measurements are?

They are 7/8". I put FZ1 bars on mine and moved the risers to the forward position. I love them like this. They're flat, but I turned them down a bit.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out what the hight and width is on them also. I want to make sure I don't buy bars that are higher or wider than the stock ones. I'd like to get ones that are a little lower too, but I'd be happy with ones that are the same as stock, but just glossy black. Trying to avoid painting this friggin thing.

Not bustin' on ya, dude. But tape measures are pretty cheap...

Ok, yah, I'm bustin' on ya! LOL :D

Yes I know and I do have a tape measure, in fact I might even have two, but I was at work without the bike and was trying to research what new bars to buy. Was hoping somebody had a quick answer for me. Nevertheless I think I'm just going to powdercoat or paint them.

Powder coat is very tough, much more durable than paint and really isn't too expensive. You most likely have a shop near your house.

My only concern is if it is going to be too think and I won't be able to get the controls back on. I got a powder coat guy down here and I'm going to talk to him and see what he says.

FZ1 bars are the same width as stock with no rise.
