Also check out Ebay for legitimate Yamaha service manuals. I just bought a hardcopy version, brand new, for $20.

If someone needs it, I have the original manuals that came with my 09 FZ6R. When I traded the bike in I forgot to take the manuals to the dealership & they never asked for them.


Just PM me, it's the original OEM manual so ya......

The owners manual is available electronically from Yamaha... he's asking about the service manual... which I did see on ebay (hard copy) starting at $5... it's $99 from Yamaha...

It would probably fall under copyright, and the same rules as distributing MP3/MP4 backups of cd's/dvd's you own.

I printed out my copy and put them in plastic sleeves. That way have it at the bike, but also on my computer for easy search. I can also then easily replace pages if get dirty or torn!

Funny. This thread made me realize the owners manual that came with my bike is wrong. I got the manual for the FZS6Y... and I thought I was going crazy looking for the helmet lock and center stand.
