Well here in RI its a steady 20mph wind with gusts near 50 at times. They are predicting 45mph sustained by early evening, and up to 75mph gusts.

I'm still stuck at work, major highways all shut down. manhattan is shut down. The f$#@$ manager won't bulge and lets us leave.
 
The wind is picking up. Lets see how soon I lose power.

Doesn't seem too bad here right now, but we keep getting reports of flooded roads and accidents. Wind is starting to pick up, rain hasn't stopped, fortunately, most of the leaves are off the trees so they shouldn't get weighed down too much (though a few friends have already had trees fall in their yard).

I had to take the day of to bring my son for a physical, glad I did, I would not want to be out riding/driving in this stuff. Will see how it is in the morning as to whether I go in to work tomorrow.

I already had to email management at work and voice my concern that they did not address this, they are notorious for "we work no matter what"... and no, I do not work at the post office, so it's a bit frustrating they were not pro-active.

Yea I agree Dart.Its pretty windy here, and can't be half as bad.I dont even have rain yett.They say we have 25-30mph winds, but Iv been fighting gusts higher then that every time I leave.They are bad enough to nearly keep the bike from falling into turns at times.So Iv been staying at home when I can, or else sticking to the highway to avoid leaves and have plenty of room to fight the wind.
 
slowly starting to get crappy here, light rain and very high winds sustained at 45+ mph. Coast guard already sent me a warning message and I'm on call right now for SAR rescues (Search and rescue)
 
still home from work, power went out last night at 6pm came back at 7:30pm then went out at 8pm and came back ay 12pm when we all went to bed....doesnt look like the wind did to much damage but good god the whole yard is just a marsh lol and there is still more rain falling here....im still under a flood warning here..
