Ordering screws?

Hello love bugs,

I took my fairings off, and laid one of the bolts that connect the black part up top alongside the hole, but never screwed it in. Anyways, i drove away, lost the bolt, i would like to replace. Where do i go to order parts like screws / washers they use. Are they just standard bolts i can get anywhere?

Check out the following link to Motosport, it's item #44. I recently had to replace a bolt and nut as I cross-threaded them when I was in a rush to put the fairings back on my bike.

Just type in Yamaha OEM parts in Google.
You'll get links like BikeBandit, etc...
Check each one out, the bolts are only going to be a few cents/dollars.
You may have to buy a 'set' of 3 of 4.

Shipping is where they get you. I'd say go with the cheapest shipper.

They are all metric bolts if you need something quick.
M4,M6 for fairings and the like, M8, M10 for bigger bolts.
You need an idea of how long to get it as well. ie : M6x15mm etc

You have to order the exact bolt though as well, because the heads on the fairing parts aren't standard.

I got a used FZ1 and the front fairing had a cpl dif. fairing screws, I looked around and they were the cheapest + shipping, although I bought a few so I'd have some backup. still have the order email

it was an actual fairing bolt just go on ebay and put in fairing bolts, get your choice of colors too. i put red on mine on the top ones, the two i think on the very bottom are a size bigger.
