Well guys, my Dad and I talked and I'm actually going to take this helmet. I took the custom pad inserts and was able to make this helmet fit me quite well. So the helmet isn't available any longer.

Has ur dad try AGV GP Tech? Super light helmet imo...
Sorry the Handroids didn't work out. Mine broke in really nicely and are really comfy. I've heard great things about the RS Taichi's. Did you try on the Spidi Carbo Tracks? Slightly more expensive but they look very rugged too. That said, I've tried the A* GP Pros and they also seem like a really nice, rugged glove. I also have the Spidi Carbo 3's, and they took forever to break in.

There's nothing in the world lighter than the Nexx so the AGV wouldn't really be any better. But the weight is just one part of it. He was able to find a neck brace that really helps with the twisting that his head does. Allows him to still turn his head but it helps with support. But unfortunately it interferes with full face helmets. 
I got the RS gloves in today and like I was worried about, they're too small. I'm exchanging them for the next size up. The other RS gloves I had we're large and were perfect. I read one site that said the gp's run a size small but I also read in another review that they don't. I took a shot and was wrong lol. Spotbike Track Gear is really good about exchanges.
